TRUMPF MODEL N500 Plate Nibbler, Hand Held, 110 volts
I checked the Trumpf website. The dataplate on this nibbler has come off, so the model/serial number is not available. We think the model was N500 and dates to the mid 90s. I have tested the unit in 3/16" (.187") mild steel and it works great. It is used and worn, but cuts really good.
Parts and service are available from Trumpf. I can e-mail a PDF of the manual.
Look at the pic and you can see the cut in the web of a channel. This is .187" thick. See the little slugs to the right....
* Capacity in 50,000 psi steel is .200"
* Capacity in 65,000 psi steel is .187"
* Capacity in 76,000 psi steel is .126"
* Capacity in 100,000 psi stainless is .100"
The current factory model with the same specs is $ 2700.00 !!!
I think I have started this MODEL N500 at a very decent price.
This Unit is USED but has been tested and works good.
