ECLIPSE E934 MP SET MAGNETIC VBLOCKS IN WOODEN CASE AS SHOWN. VBLOCKS MEASURE 2.76" WIDE x 4.02" LONG AND ARE 3.76" TALL WITH BOTTOM VEE RECESSED .10" DEEP AS SHOWN IN PICS. BLOCK HAS A VEE THAT IS 1.94" WIDE ON TOP AND BOTTOM VEE IS .75" OR 3/4" APPX. AS SHOWN. CURRENT LIST AT NEWMAN TOOLS FOR THESE BLOCKS WHEN NEW IS $2206.33!!!!! SAVE SOME $$$$ HERE ON A GOOD USED SET!
The Magnetic Vee Block will hold cylindrical workpieces for grinding. It will hold both itself and the workpiece on any flat ferrous surface, including a permanent magnet chuck (without energising the chuck). There are two vees. The smaller model is intended for workpieces up to 20mm in diameter and the larger model is intended for workpieces up to 65mm in diameter. The vees and faces are energised or de-energised simultaneously.
It is sometimes advantageous to use two Magnetic Vee Blocks together (matched pairs are available).
Note: Not suitable for the rotation of workpieces for inspection.
