Fantech has stood as the industry standard in american made ventilation fans for the high-end user who demands more than a clunky, noisy squirrel cage fan or the so-called inline fans which offer nothing more than a 4-blade fan in a cheap sheet metal housing.
This fan is a GREAT alternative to the Elicent 4" #100B fan. Unlike Elicent, Fantech does independantly researched CFM ratings. This specific model FR110 was rated at 167 CFM, whereas the Elicent #100B's in-factory CFM rating was stated as 151 CFM
This specific fan is the Fantech 4 Inch FR 110 inline fan. It can be used in a wide variety of applications ranging from Home Improvment, Dryer ventilation, Cooking/Kitchen filtration, manufacturing enviroments, The home workshop and even in ciggarette smoker's living enviroments to help keep smoke and other nausious fumes from gathering.
This fan already runs very quiet due to its balanced disk, sound-deadening housing, hard plastic fan blades and efficient centrifical motor.
