High alloy material (Chrome, Molybdenum, Manganese) hardened to 60RC assures rigidity and long life of tool holder. Superior accuracy of bore is H6 tolerance. Runout at nose is within .0005" and at 4" distance from nose it is within .0006". The taper shank is groun to .00003" surface finish and has 90% surface taper contact with spindle, which provides high accuracy, rigidity and longer life for the machine spindle and cutting tool. All surfaces except ground surfaces are coated with anti-rust treatment.
