The Operator "Shorty" tactical police gloves are a shortened, wrist-length version of the Operator Tactical Gloves, for those who do not need the additional gauntlet protection. The Hatch tactical Shorty glove features Kevlar construction and provides 4 times the cut-resistance of leather as well as heat and flash protection to 800°F (427°C). The entire glove is sewn with non-melting nylon thread. Water resistant kangaroo leather palms provide superior abrasion and cut resistance. An elasticized wrist keeps the Hatch Operator taut. Cut-ring stitching allows optional removal of the index finger for trigger control, without unraveling the remaining edge. A second layer of leather in the palm provides additional protection and is ergonomically cut to prevent bunching while clenching objects. These Hatch gloves feature padding in the heel of the palm which cushions the shock of firearm recoil. Posi-Grip non-skid material in the cradle of the hand provides a confident grip when using weapons or tools.
How to Find your Glove Size. Usually one hand is larger then the other, typically the strong hand. Using a tape measures, wrap the tape measure around the hand at the widest part as shown and make a loose fit. Round the measurement to the nearest whole inch.
