This listing is for Robertshaw's new 8601 Designer Programmable thermostat. NOTE: THE 8601 THERMOSTAT IS A HARDWIRE/IN-LINE MODEL THERMOSTAT (NO BATTERIES). IF YOU WANT THE BATTERY OPERATED MODEL PLEASE GO TO THE 8600 LISTING AND ORDER FROM THERE. EVEN WITHOUT BATTERY BACK-UP, THIS THERMSOTAT WILL NOT LOSE ITS PROGRAMMED MEMORY. Dampers Direct is a distributor for Robert Shaw and these stats are new and in the box. The 8601 is compatible with all 2 - 5 wire single stage gas, oil, electric, or heat pump systems. That covers over 95% of all residential systems. The 8601 also has all of the connections needed to use in a Zone Control system.
