This is a wonderful, colorful and creative crafting tool for card-making, kids crafts and other papercrafting applications. The manufacturer advertises that Rainbow tape uses acid-free adhesive but does not speak to the paper used. I tested a strip with my acid testing pen and it appears to be acid-neutral, but I would feel more comfortable recommending that you test it yourself and make a decision as to whether or not to use rainbow tape for scrapbooking.
