The Pro-Scan MD-3003 is a high performance hand-held Metal Detector designed to meet the exact requirements of the security industry.
Lightweight and easy to use, yet powerful enough to detect concealed metal objects as small as a hat pin.
Ideal for airports, schools, prisons, sporting events, etc. to locate metal weapons.
If a metal object is detected the unit makes a beeping sound and a red LED light is illuminated.
The presence of metal will be indicated by an audio warning tone and a red light coming on.
The sensitivity is adjustable.
* A .38 caliber hand gun will be detected at 7.75 inches on low sensitivity and 11 inches at optimum sensitivity.
* A Pen knife will be detected at 4 inches on low sensitivity and 6 inches on optimum sensitivity.
* A razor blade will be detected at 2 inches on low sensitivity and 4 inches on optimum sensitivity.
(if an earphone is used the beeping can only be heard by the person doing the scanning)
