This listing is for a vintage Westinghouse Voltmeter Type PA-14, Style 1208934, serial number 2179400. Its dimensions are approx. 5 1/4" x 4 1/4" x 2 5/8". The needle is free floating and when test leads are attached does indeed take a steady reading though I've no way of determining its present calibration. The meter is in SUPERB condition, please take the time to enlarge the pictures and view for yourself. The bakelite flipcase is case is also in superb condition with no chips, no cracks, no major flaws whatsoever. There are some minor scratches as one would expect but to tell the truth, you will be hard pressed to fine a finer example of ths 50 to 60 year old Classic. The meter face? Like new. The hinge? Showing a great patina on the outside and a mirror bright, like new finish on the inside. The glass? Perfect. This is truly an outstanding Collector display piece or an amazing fully functional Vintage meter for your current use. If you're looking for a very well cared for Westinghouse classic, you've found it.
