Fantech has stood as the industry standard in american made ventilation fans for the high-end user who demands more than a clunky, noisy squirrel cage fan or the so-called inline fans which offer nothing more than a 4-blade fan in a cheap sheet metal housing.
This specific fan is the Fantech FX 8XL inline fan. It can be used in a wide variety of applications ranging from Home Improvment, Dryer ventilation, manufacturing enviroments, The home workshop and even in ciggarette smoker's living enviroments to help keep smoke and other nausious fumes from gathering. Additionally this fan may be used with most all 120v variable speed controllers.
This fan already runs very quiet due to its balanced disk, sound-deadening housing and centrifical motor. However many users have found that the combination of insulated ducting and a 650 CFM Carbon Filter can make the fan virtually silent during operation. These are also part of my invetory and available to you upon request.
