So if your PC has a 16550 UART chip, you can send data at 115.2 kbps! The RS-232/485/422 Converter Plus has a line bias feature that prevents it from receiving line noise as send or receive signals. Works in all popular 2- or 4-wire applications, too. 115 kbps plus Opto-Isolation! This unit is functionally identical to the BLACK BOX(R) RS-232/485/422 Converter Plus, and it has built-in opto-isolators.
