This bench vise is in very good used condition. The jaw width is 4 inches and the maximum usable opening is about 5 1/2 inches. From its appearance I believe that this was only used as a home owner tool This vise is old and shows no significant wear or damage. It has only minor chipping on the edges of the jaw faces. The serrated jaw faces are in great shape. There is some very minor surface rust. This tool, if used properly, could easily last another lifetime.
