Giddings & Lewis Horizontal Boring Mill
· Motor: 20 H.P., 480 Volts, 12 Amps
· Table size: X=70”, Y=50”, Z=24”, U=72”
· Equipped with a tail stock
· Equipped with a facing head
· A variety of hold down tooling, tool holder sleeves & extensions will be supplied
· Tooling also to be included will be 3 boring bars and 3 turning tool holders
· Freight: F.O.B. LaPorte, Texas
· Approximate weight of the machine is 30,000lbs and the tailstock is approx. 10,000lbs
· Professional riggers will be needed to pick up the machine due to lack of crane capacity
· This is a manual mill in good condition. It has not been under power since 2002
This machine was in use in a local oil field manufacturer from 1996 to 2004. The company was sold and all of the manual machines were replaced by CNC's. This machine was in full service and was well maintenanced.
The machine has been disassembled and is stored right down the road from our location. It has not been in service since 2002. It will take professional riggers to move this machine. the machine weighs approximately 25000lbs and the tail stock weighs approximately 8000lbs.
