Hardinge Boring Bar Tool Holder Model CG-B: Used to turn and bore tapers. It can be set to a desired angel using a protractor.
The taper slide mounts into the T-Slot of a turret and holds 5/8 inch round shank tools. Sustained accuracy and ease of operation are gained by the precition ground dovetail slide. The slide has a maximum travel of 7/8 inches with length controlled using a stop screw. An HDB5 bushing (not supplied) can be used for shanks 1/2 inch or smaller in diameter.
The slide is activated and locked into position using a handle located on the top of the unit.
