Norwood Industries Inc.'s LumberLiteâ„¢ 24 mid-sized bandmill is ideal to mill lumber for your own fencing, building, and furniture-making needs.
This LumberLite â„¢ 24 mid-sized band sawmill is equipped with the 8.0hp (305cc) Briggs OHV engine.
The Briggs & Stratton engine features a 1" output shaft, cast iron cylinder, OHV and two-year commercial warranty with Tecumseh.
Norwood incorporated into the LumberLiteâ„¢ 24 many of the same superior-quality features and components as its big brother, the LumberMateâ„¢ 2000, including the same bandwheels, carriage wheels, blade-guide rollers and industrial-grade powder coating.
One person can easily and accurately mill lumber with the LumberLiteâ„¢ 24. You move the saw head manually up and down with the assistance of a crank. Manually feeding the saw head allows you to easily judge the best speed to accurately cut through knots and denser core-woods.
This LumberLiteâ„¢ 24 comes equipped with:
1. the 8.0hp (305cc) Briggs & Stratton OHV recoil-start engine;
2. two log rests and one log dog;
3. a blade lubrication system;
4. two blade guide rollers equipped with sealed ball bearings;
5. carriage wheels equipped with sealed ball bearings;
6. one 1 ¼” Goldline Premium™ silicon-steel band blade; and
7. a 16-foot bed (so you can cut up to 12 feet) (optional 4-foot bed extensions are available so you can cut longer lumber).
