This is a new 2-1/4" diameter indicator magnetic back. It is a magnetic base the screws onto the back of any group II dial indicator. This syle of magnetic base is a real timesaver for machine, jig, fixture set up. This magnetic back requires no clamps rods or snugs. This magnetic back is a quick and easy means to attach any AGD brand of indicator to a flat ferrous metal surface.
All group II indictors are 2-1/4" and have four screws on the back of each indicator to remove the lug mount. You remove the lug back or plain back off of your indicator and use the same four screws to attach this magnetic back. Your indicator will now attach itself to any magnetic surface without the magnetic base taking up any more space than the indicator does. This is a permanent magnet with a strong magnetic power pull.
