This is a very unique switch and design, very heavy duty and strong. It has a metal toggle handle with a metal ball on the end, handle extends from a metal 3/4" dia. threaded stub which is also used to panel mount switch with 2 jamb nuts. Face of metal mounting stub and ball on handle appeares to be smoothed and polished stainless steel. Switch is DPST with 6 screw terminals with motor style L and T lead markings (2 terminals mark L1 & L2 and 4 terminals mark T1-T4). Switch is rated for 3/4 HP with 14 Amp contacts @ 125 Volts and 7 Amp contacts @ 250 Volts.
This switch is NOS (new old stock), brand new, never installed and in perfect condition. I came across a box with 24 of these beauties in it, so if you want more than one it's not a problem. I've been in the electrical field for 25+ years and have never seen a switch like this, my best quess is an up/down switch for an old Dumbwaiter or something like that. Maybe you can tell me.
