Lincoln Statiflex 400-MS Base Unit
Lincoln Electric’s® Statiflex™ 400-MS is a wall mounted, low vacuum/high volume self-cleaning filtration system designed for heavy duty extraction and filtration of welding fumes.
The Statiflexâ„¢ 400-MS is ideal for a variety of facilities in which floor space is a premium including: maintenance departments, general fabrication and job shops, weld schools, and industrial welding environments. Because of the self-cleaning function, the Statiflexâ„¢ 400-MS can also be used in production environments where welding duty-cycles are longer and more frequent.
The Statiflex™ 400-MS is configured as a single arm system. Lincoln Electric’s® fume extraction arms are designed to provide welders optimal motion and reach for their specific welding position(s) and work area. The arm lengths range from 1 m (3 ft.) to 8 m (27 ft.) with optional EC4 extension crane. The SF2400 stationary fan is designed specifically for weld applications. The SF2400 fan extracts weld fume through the arm, and exhaust fumes into filter unit. The internal spark arrestor and unique filter cartridge capture the welding fume particulate. As the particulate is collected on the outside of the filter cartridge and builds up, the filter is then automatically cleaned causing the particulate to fall into the collection bin for easy disposal.
The Statiflexâ„¢ 400-MS system is recommended for consumable use of approximately 6,000 lbs. (2722 kg) of MIG wire or 4,000 lbs. (1814 kg) of stick or flux-cored wire before replacing.
Filter performance will be affected by process and application variables including: base metal(s), consumables(s), and coatings (oil) if applicable.
