Offered here are industry standard alarm/fire/security addressable monitor
modules. Types may include ADT M300MADT and Fire-Lyte MMF-300.
These are a module that fits in a double outlet box. It monitors a zone of up
to four contacts from smoke detectors, PIR intrusion devices, glass breakage
sensors, or similar dry switches. Its output is connected by a standard
SLC loop. Power is derived from the control loop.
Each module is addressable with two internal selector switches for up to
150 unique channels. The host controller interrogates its modules
sequentially for open, short, fault, or normal operation.
Wholesale price of these are typically in the $60 range.
Units fit a normal double outlet box. Included is an ivory double outlet plate.
An LED is optionally programmed for flash or off. Also included are mounting
screws, an optional terminating resistor, and installation docs.
Guaranteed usable. Units received from an alarm company bankruptcy "as new"
and super clean mostly sealed in individual original plastic blister packs. Modules
are pristine; outer packaging may include minor to mild cosmetics.
