Tek 834 Programmable Data Communications Tester
The Tektronix TEK 834 Data Communications Tester is a portable instrument for monitoring, analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting data communications interfaces, that conform to EIA Standard RS-232 or C.C.I.T.T. V.24.
The unit passed the power up self test and is in Good Condition, On power up the display flashes CS okay and the display then reads 834 ready. includes ops manual in the lid. The ROM card is not included nor any thing that is not in the photo is obviously not included. What you see is what you get.
Even though I am familiar with most of the equipment I am not a technician and can not check this item out beyond a basic power up and/or self test if that function is available. I try to describe as accurately as possible and list as much as I know about the item. I also pop the covers when able and inspect for missing or burned components, water damage, obvious signs of attempt at repair, and anything else that is obvious to someone with a limited technical background
