A high nickel electrode specifically recommended for applications where machinability is important. Even single pass welds are machinable. It is recommended for surfacing applications and repairing small casting defects when the deposit will require machining. Welding smoothness is nothing short of astounding.
Castrod 1 is a pure nickel electrode which is universally used for welding all types of cast iron. Castrod 1 has been specially designed to operate at low at low currents, which minimises heat input, and thus facilitates the "cold welding" of cast iron. Castrod 1 is an all-positional electrode, with good slag control, and a friable slag that is easily removed.
Ideal for use in Automotive, Engineering, Fabrication and any other industry requiring the need for precision cast welding.

If you have any problems regarding faulty goods, missing items or goods not as described, you must report this to us by e-mail within 24 hours of signing for the goods or we will not be able to consider any claim.
If your goods are damaged in transit then you must sign the delivery note accordingly, do not just sign for the goods on the delivery note as this is accepting them in good order, make sure you insert goods damaged on the delivery sheet and notify us within 24 hours of delivery, if you do not adhere to these instructions a claim cannot be considered.
If you have changed your mind and don’t want the goods when they arrive or you have received a wrong item we will give a full refund of the purchase price. You will be responsible for postage both ways and returning the goods to us unopened and unused, the goods must be returned to us within one weeks of delivery.
