Harris Cold Trap Refrigeration Unit
This unit is a two stage refrigeration unit used for cooling diffusion pumps up to 35” dia.
It will replace liquid nitrogen. Vacuum machines not already equipped with refrigerated traps
or baffles can increase their productivity. This unit will shorten the diffusion pump cycle in the presence
of water vapor or condensable plasticizers.
This unit has not been tested. Coolant can be purchased for this unit and some refrigeration experts can
rebuild these and service them.
