HP 83554A mm - Wave Source Module 26.5 - 40.0 GHz
This HP Wave Source Module is in good used condition. The case is in good shape, with two pencil eraser sized scratches, one on each side. The rubber feet rings are in good condition. The Source Module Interface cable is in good working order, with all 21 pins straight and clean. The two retainer screws are intact on the cord. The N port for the RF input is clean and all threads are unmarred. The two retainer slides on the front of the unit rotate smoothly and clamp firmly. This unit was fully tested and works beautifully. We plugged the interface cable into a HP 8349B microwave amplifier and performed a microwave sweep of the 83554As in-frequency range (13.25-20.00 GHz) We monitored the output of the Wave Source Module with our power meter, and the tests were reading the correct power output on a manual sweep from 26.5 - 40.0 GHz.

The 83554A millimeter-wave source module can be driven by a variety of microwave sources providing millimeter-wave test signals for waveguide bands from 26.5 to 40 GHz. In addition, the 83554A millimeter-wave source module offers leveled high output power, full waveguide band frequency coverage, and the high frequency accuracy and resolution of the driving microwave source. Leveled output power from the 83554A is rated at +8 dBm and can permit the source module to serve as a mixer LO in some applications and also expands the available dynamic range in frequency response measurements.
