I am selling this lot of about 14 precission instruments for my retired uncle. He retired about 15 years ago after 30+ years as a machinist. He vas very picky about his tools. He kept them clean, kept a penny with each one to prevent rust, and absolutely refused to loan them. He said a good machinist has his own tools so he can trust their accuracy.
For sale is a pair (don't know why they are a pair, there is only one piece) of Miller Falls 1 - 2" outside micrometers mdl# 739R with steel tips, lock, ratcheting thimble, reads .001" incremants, paint well worn, name etched in frame. These are antiques and are beginning to be collectable. The box is still there - not in very goood shape.
