Description: The ST 1700B has a long and distinguished history as a workhorse audio and distortion analysis system. It combines an ultra-low distortion oscillator, a high-resolution automatic nulling distortion analyzer, and an accurate ac voltage/power meter in one instrument. The oscillator provides a sine wave output from 3 volts to 1 millivolt. The analyzer contains a tracking notch filter which is tuned to the oscillator frequency. Full scale sensitivity ranges from 100% down to 0.01%. 400 Hz high-pass and 80 kHz low-pass filters are available. The fully differential input helps to reject common mode hum and noise. The ac meter measures voltage from 300 V to to 3 mV or from 1 mV to 30 uV in extended range mode. Voltage ratio measurements with 100 dB or more dynamic range can also be made. This unit includes Option 004 - IMD Analyzer.
Condition: Reconditioned and Performance Tested to meet manufacturers specifications. Clean unit inside and out. Physically inspected, hardware re-torqued, connectors treated with a preservative, controls and switches lubricated as appropriate, power supply electrolytics tested. Burned in for 72 hours and then performance tested. All knobs and switches are in good condition. There is a mark on the front panel to the right of the meter.
