The Performance Gas module, MicroGas module, and MicroGas Analyzer are portable gas analyzers used to perform vehicle diagnostic tests and to measure emission gas levels found in the exhaust of all internal combustion engines except two-cycle and diesel engines. The gas analyzers measure the emission levels of carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, oxygen, and nitrogen oxides.
To use the gas analyzers with the Gas M-P software you must also use a Solarity tool or Next Generation Information System (NGIS) tool, a sampling hose/ probe assembly, and an exhaust hose. When the equipment is set up properly, the exhaust gases enter the gas analyzer through the sampling hose/probe assembly. The gas analyzer then analyzes the gases and sends analyzed data to the tool. The tool, with the Gas M-P software installed, lets you read the analyzed data and control the gas analyzer functions.
