The A4 ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) converts the A, B, and R analog outputs from the A7, A8, and A9 Log Amplifiers into digital information to be read, processed, and displayed by the A3 CPU. The SWEEP IN ramp and POS Z BLANK input from the microwave source are also processed by the A4 ADC.
