Description: A very good micrometer is up for sale. It is a Mitutoyo. The metal tag on back reads No.350-711-10 with a serial number 304208. It was my dad's who has been a retired machinist and had to reach tolerances of of .001inches on his drillings. It has been on a shelf for years and needs a battery, an SR44. It has a digital readout and can be linked to SPC systems. It can be used to measure items that fit within a 2.5 cm slot. Turn the dial and a metal tube descends to meet the object to be measured.
Dimensions: It stands about 18 cm tall, 7.25 inches roughly.The base is 7.5 cm wide.
