Brand-new pressure control switch recently aquired from brand-name compressor company. This part is a direct replacement pressure switch for many brands of compressors including: Central Pneumatic, Campbell Hausfeld, Makita, Hitachi and several others. It can also be used to replace other broken pressure switches that attach with ¼” air fittings (some fitting may be necessary). Ridgid compressors also accept this part very easily although it is often not exactly the same brand/style switch as before.
I repaired my 3hp/8gal compressor with this part and it's worked great for years. This switch a great alternative to discarding an otherwise OK air compressor.
The pressure switch is easily adjustable. Factory max rated pressure for the switch is 175psi. Please use a properly calibrated safety blow-off valve and wear proper eye/face protection when checking/adjusting pressure settings for the first time. Switch usually comes factory set to shut-off around 125psi - and turn on around 90psi.
Please make sure your existing switch looks like the switch in my photo. If it does, this switch should drop right in. Otherwise you may have to custom fit the switch to make it work. If you are unsure, contact me with your compressor info and I’ll do my best to help.
This is a direct replacement part from the factory and it has been tested by the factory. I will gladly replace any defective switch, but please be careful when working with any compressed air device as they can be dangerous.
