Malco TY6 Nylon Tie Tensioning Tool HVAC R
Malco tensioning tools are designed to create extreme tension on large ZIP tie fasteners. The TY6 is a manual tensioner with an adjustable automatic cut off blade.
These are pretty simple to use and almost a neccessity when installing and/or replacing flex duct. Especially in an attic or crawl space installation. Who wants to climb back up or under and do it again because it blew off due to lack of tension on the ZIP tie. Also these can be used on any application where you need extra tension on a larger ZIP tie.
