This is a Plug Chuck to fit a Wade Lathe. These are rare and hard to find.
Plug Chucks are machined in your spindle for greatest accuracy. They can be used to mount small chucks and fixtures. The original plug length has been cutoff to approximately 11/16" long and needs to be faced off to be true.
* Plug Collet to fit a Wade Lathe
* Do not confuse these collets with 5C's. 8W Collets have a different thread form (buttress) and TPI and are longer than 5c's
