Adjustable Leveling Platform Machine Layout Line Transfer Millwright
If anyone knows of the proper name for this tool I would appreciate a reply.
This unit is for creating a level platform for transferring a string line to the floor for machine layouts like paper machines, printing presses, conveyor belts, etc. You would use your square to transfer the string line to the floor for setting anchors and so on. This is a tool used by Millwrights and Machine erectors. A string line is used as a reference point. The platform can be easily be leveled using the 3 attached bolts. There are three extra tapped holes in the center of the platform for such things as an indicator post for indicating things like drums or rollers. The center hole is 3/8" and all others are 5/16". If you had special requirements for the hole sizes I could make one tapped to match your requirements.
