You're looking at a good used Woods L59 mower. This belongs to my father and he no longer has a use for it. We used it to mow the orchards on our farm. He has decided to sell it since it has been sitting for the last 3 years. I used it a little last year to mow his lawn and around the buildings but decided to put it back in the shed since the steering on the tractor was locking up. Other wise it did an execllent job of cutting the grass.
It could use a new belt the one on there is cracked from age. There is a shield on the right side that is missing and the center pulley cover guard is cracked where it bolts to the deck. There was a spring from the deck up to the lift lever that broke and we never replaced it. The deck is in good shape, not rusted thru. I used this mower mainly when I lived at home and I greased the spindles and casters every time before use.
All the mounting brackets go with it. The gear box is not included that is on the back of the transmission. It is formerly on a Farmall "A" tractor and would bolt right up to a Farmall "B" tractor since the Farmall A & B or the same tractor. The only difference is the Farmall B has a narrow front.
The tractor in these pictures is not included nor is it for sale!!
Brackets can be bought to convert this mower to a three point hitch if a person wanted to.
It is located in O'Fallon Illinois (just two miles off of Interstate 64) which is 20 miles East of St. Louis Mo.
My brothers and I can help load this mower since we don't have a loader available. Or we can deliver it for $1.50 per loaded mile up to a 100 mile radius of O'Fallon Illinois. There is a $50.00 minimum delivery fee.
