This is a well used, but not abused Kenwood TK-805D UHF 400MHz radio. I recently removed it from my vehicle, replaced with a dual-bander. It is field programmable, software/cable not required. It was fully tested on a bench power supply 1/10/2008. Guaranteed not DOA.
The box on top is a speaker volume control for interior/exterior speakers, hooked to a EMS vehicle PA. The internal speaker works 100%. The mic is also routed thru the audio controls providing nice mic gain.
The power cable pigtail is approximately 12 inches long past the disconnect.
