80/20 Inc METRIC 40 Series Single Side Short UniBearing, Part #40-6860.
This METRIC bearing measures 75mm long x 79.4mm wide x 12.8mm thick, securely mounts to (1) METRIC 40 mm T-slot extrusion side, and then allows for another METRIC 40 mm extrusion side to slide back and forth on the bearing pad surface. (40 Series Double Keyed UniBearing Pads, part #40-6893, can be used to assist with proper alignment). This part features UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) bearing pads which are self lubricating and have a low coefficient of friction. These bearing pads are universal and can be removed or installed quickly on an existing T-slot aluminum extrusion without taking the frame apart. This is NEW INVENTORY from the factory and does not include the mounting hardware or extrusion shown. The picture shown illustrates the application of this part and may include a different series extrusion. The indicated price is per piece.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Our bearings are designed for compression loads in "non-hanging" sliding applications only. They should NEVER be used to support hanging loads.
