The JDSU APD Receiver (ERM 578 ) is a 10 Gb/s avalanche photodiode and a high gain SiGe transimpedance amplifier, the APD Receiver is designed to meet the requirements of long reach SONET transponders. It may also be used in the client side of optical systems, such as for optical add/drop multiplexers.
