This planter has a stainless steel seed opener with a replaceable bottom edge as seen in the one picture, something you don't see very often, it also has new three point pins catergory #1, new chain and a new axle in the press wheel. It also features adjustable seed depth control, adjustable down pressure, interchangeable seed plates for different seeds, adjustable seed spacing by changing seed plates, all moving parts have grease fittings. I went thru all the gears and they were fine. This would work great for your food plots, deer plots, test plots or your garden. It will plant corn, beans, milo, sorghum, pumpkins, sunflowers, etc. It comes with one seed plate. I have been building these types of planters for 5 years now and have never had any complaints on them. Parts are readily available at your local John Deere dealer if you would need any. But you shouldn't ever need any.
The three pictures showing the planter hooked to the tractor is of a planter I built and sold two weeks ago. I am selling another one just like this but it has the stainless stell seed opener as in the one picture. They are the same model planter. I hope this doesn't confuse any one.
It will fit easily into a minivan or small truck and possibly in the trunk of some cars. It is located in Highland, IL. which is 30 miles East of St. Louis Mo.
